2. Overview

3. Hosting and delivery of the website (Cloudflare)

This website is provided via the Cloudflare Pages service and the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"). Cloudflare acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR).

Each time a page is accessed, Cloudflare necessarily processes the data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, requested address (URL), referrer URL (previously visited page, if transmitted), browser type and version, operating system, and the amount of data transferred and status code. This data is required to deliver the website to your device, to ensure the stability and security of the service and to fend off attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and efficient provision of our website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum (opens in a new window)).

Personal data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (entry in the Data Privacy Framework List (opens in a new window)); transfers are therefore based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses are agreed in the data processing agreement. Further information: Cloudflare privacy policy (opens in a new window).

4. Contact by email and contact form

The contact form on the "Contact" page does not transmit any data to us or to third parties. When you submit it, your browser merely creates an email draft containing your details (name, email address, topic, message) and hands it over to your email program. We only receive your message once you send this email yourself.

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (in particular your name, email address and the content of your message) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (enquiries relating to a contract or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data will not be stored for longer than necessary to fulfil your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Cookies and storage on your device

This website does not use cookies and does not access information stored on your device (Section 165(3) TKG 2021). A cookie banner is therefore not required. The reduced-motion setting ("Pause animation") only applies to the page currently open and is not stored.

6. Fonts

The fonts used are loaded locally from our website. No connection is made to servers of Google or other font providers.

7. Links to other websites

Our website contains links to websites of other providers, such as the Google Maps map service (directions link on the contact page) or other websites. This content is only loaded when you click the respective link. From that point on, the respective provider is responsible for data processing and its privacy policy applies (for Google Maps: Google privacy policy (opens in a new window)).

8. Downloads

Documents offered for download (PDF) are also delivered via our website hosted by Cloudflare. The access data listed in section 3 is processed in this context.

9. Job applications

For job applications, our declaration of consent for job applicants (PDF, in German, dated 1 June 2019) also applies.

10. Disclosure of data

Apart from the processor named in section 3, your personal data is not disclosed to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have expressly consented.

11. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

12. Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.

13. Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Please contact [email protected].

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at (opens in a new window)).

14. Changes and previous version

We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal situation changes. Last updated: 26 October 2026.
